Magical vacuum cleaner
When you use a vacuum cleaner in your
house, you can see what a wonderful difference it can make in your
carpets. In fact, the whole room brightens up when lint and dirt
disappear.
God has a "Magical Vacuum Cleaner" that
can be used to make believers in Jesus Christ clean and acceptable
to Him.. This is how it works:
The moment a person believes in Jesus
Christ, he is given eternal life. That eternal life can never be
taken away, because God has promised: "I give unto them eternal
life, and they shall never perish; neither shall any man pluck
them out of My hand." (John 1 0:28)
Each one of us is born with a sinful
nature that will remain very active all through our lives, because
we live in this cosmic system. When we commit a sin, we don't lose
our salvation, but we are out of fellowship with the Lord, and He
is not pleased. This is taught in both the Old and New Testament.
In Psalm 66:18 we read, "If I regard iniquity (sin) in my heart,
the lord will not hear me." |
