What does Christmas mean to you?

PEACE ON EARTH?
"There is no PEACE says my God to the wicked." (Isaiah 57:21)
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect PEACE, whose mind is stayed
on Thee, because he trusts in Thee. (Isaiah 26:3)

GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN?
''There is no one who does GOOD, no, not one." (Romans 3:12b)
"The fool has said in his heart 'there is no God.' They are all
corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is no one
   that does GOOD." (Psalm 14:1)

GIVING AND RECEIVING GIFTS?
"Every good GIFT and every perfect GIFT is from above, and
comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no
variableness, neither shadow of turning." (James 1 :17)
"For the wages of sin is death. But the GIFT of God is
ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS IS KNOWING JESUS CHRIST.

He came into the world, in true humanity, to be our substitute and die for the sins of the world. At Christmas-time, we are reminded of His birth in Bethlehem. That event was prophesied by Moses and all of the Old Testament prophets, at it is now the focal point of human history.

When the wise men, the Maji, presented GIFTS of frankincense and myrrh, they did it in recognition of Him as the SAVIOR In the ancient world, FRANKINCENSE was a sacred incense. MYRRH was a perfume that was used to embalm a body, and also to anoint a king. JESUS is the 'King of kings and Lord of lords." (Revelation 19:16)
Because Jesus paid the penalty for our sins, we can say with the Apostle Paul:

THANKS BE UNTO GOD FOR HIS UNSPEAKABLE GIFT: (2 Corinthians 9:15)
